Standard vs Complex for owner shops: when two seats are not enough

6 min read

Which seat first picks AP vs support. Second seat after AP uses Standard's second FTE slot. This post is the next question: when is Complex the honest close, and when are you overbuying?

Live numbers only from pricing. Door is the calculator.

The tiers, named plainly (live 2026)

  • Standard — Talk to us. 1–2 AI agents / up to 2 FTE roles. Target go-live: about 30 days from kickoff. Your timeline is set in your SOW.
  • Complex — Talk to us. 2–3 AI agents / 3 FTE roles. 45 days. Pricing page labels this most popular.
  • Enterprise — Talk to us. 4+ agents / 4+ FTE. Custom fine-tuning, dedicated success manager.

Stay on Standard when

  • You have one clear AP seat and one clear support seat (the pairs we already publish by vertical)
  • Systems are messy but still countable (one PMS, one WMS, one agency stack)
  • The owner can name two roles in a sentence without inventing a third

Step to Complex when

  • A third distinct role appears (e.g. AP + returns CS + B2B order desk)
  • Integrations genuinely need a longer architecture pass (multi-ERP, multi-3PL, multi-client portals)
  • Standard's target go-live would be fiction for the stack you actually run

Enterprise is usually cosplay for 20–80 shops

Four-plus FTE and a dedicated success manager is for multi-entity ops, not for an owner who wants to stop drowning in invoices. If the calculator shows two wages, Standard. If it shows three clean roles, Complex. If someone is pitching Enterprise first, ask which fourth seat exists today.

Who this is for

20–80 owner-operated shops in 3PL, construction, dental, ecommerce, agencies. Not CPA firms.
