Project Manager
About This Role
Our AI Systems Architects build incredible automation. But someone needs to make sure clients understand what's happening, deadlines are met, and expectations are managed. That's you.
You'll be the primary point of contact for clients throughout their project lifecycle—from initial kickoff through deployment and handoff. You translate between the technical work our team does and the business outcomes clients care about.
This is not a traditional PM role. We don't do Gantt charts and status reports for the sake of it. You manage the flow of information, catch blockers before they become problems, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Running kickoff calls with new clients to understand their goals
- Weekly check-ins with clients—proactive communication, not reactive
- Internal coordination with our AI Systems Architects on deliverables
- Spotting scope creep and having direct conversations about it
- Documenting decisions, timelines, and next steps
- Ensuring handoff goes smoothly and clients are set up for success
What You Need
These are non-negotiable. We will test for these in the assessment.
- → 100% fluent English. Native speaker or equivalent. You will write emails, run video calls, and represent Leverwork to clients. If there's any doubt about your fluency, this role isn't for you.
- → Organizational instinct. You naturally track what needs to happen next. You don't let things slip. Chaos becomes order when you're involved.
- → Client-facing confidence. You're comfortable being the face of the company. You can handle tough conversations, set boundaries, and keep relationships warm.
- → Translation skills. You can take technical concepts and explain them in business terms. And you can take vague client requests and turn them into clear specs for the team.
- → Relentless follow-through. If you say you'll do something, it happens. You don't need reminders. You are the reminder.
- → Written excellence. Most of your communication will be async—emails, Notion docs, Loom videos. You write clearly, concisely, and with the right tone for the situation.
Nice to Have
These help, but aren't required.
- Experience in consulting, agencies, or professional services
- Familiarity with AI/automation concepts (we'll teach the details)
- Previous remote work experience with Western clients
- Experience with Notion, Linear, or similar project tools
- Experience managing technical projects (software, integrations, etc.)
